Synopsis
Imagine a device that completely changed the world. Every major organisation had a stake in the technology, education could be gained from the comfort of one's home, and the last war ended in 2083. What if this world totally screwed you over? Sydney Shaden was barely scraping by paying for his university fees when the dream-state link was released. At first, he thought it was something to celebrate - before his school switched from reality to dream-state. Sydney couldn't afford the prices to buy his own link, and the young man was forced to drop-out of university. He saved up for years, until he finally bought the parts to build his very own D-link, as well as the only game released for it - Archae. How could he resist being able to battle dragons and throw fireballs? The young man assembled it all, loaded up his dream-state game and then it all went wrong.
