Synopsis

There were four of us walking 238 miles in seven days from Buckie to Glasgow with a one man support. The route took in some of the finest scenery in our native Scotland, starting with the Spey-side Way, to the East Highland Way and finishing with the West Highland Way. We five men were not celebrities with the support of medics, chefs, and cosy beds at the end of every day. We were four normal working men and one pensioner trying to raise money for the children's charity Action for Children. This book tells of the ups and downs, the laughs and tears, the pain and pleasures. It's also my way of paying tribute to the raw guts and determination of the three men I walked with and the amazing support one man gave. This is the story of an amazingly difficult challenge through my eyes.
