Crystal Reed is a Special Education Teacher, published poet and mother of three. Born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, she currently lives in upstate New York where she teaches and writes children’s books. She has over 30 years of teaching experience, guiding students with and without disabilities as well as English language learners. A student advocate, she invites learning with innovation, creativity, precision, and persistence. She builds classroom achievement as a stepping stone to lifetime success by developing just-right materials and exploring targeted strategies that work for each individual child. Her love for writing coupled with children's need to navigate an increasingly complex world has led her to invent stories and texts that are heart-full and irresistible.
