Synopsis

City Place was the cornerstone of the renaissance of downtown West Palm Beach--where people could stroll, window shop, dine, and listen to live music or catch a movie--a mecca for locals and tourists alike. But young women were beginning to disappear. The father of one of the missing women hired Private Investigator, Lou Steigerman, and his beautiful young partner, Jessica Cormack to find his daughter. Frustration mounted as the investigation hit one dead end after another and Lou knew the clock was ticking. Over at the West Palm Beach Police Department, Detective Sergeant Daniel Murphy experienced frustrations of his own, suffering from new partner growing pains. Making things more difficult, the Police Department was mired in a missing person case of it’s own. As more women disappeared, Lou and Jessie joined forces with the police to catch the elusive kidnapper. Come along as Lou and Jessie get taken on a roller coaster ride from sunny South Florida to the Chicago suburbs, and finally to the ruins of the notorious Pennhurst Hospital outside Philadelphia. Almost Perfect is the second Lou Steigerman, Jessica Cormack mystery So pull up a chair, the coffee and donuts are free.
