A collection of twelve years of poetry, edited and arranged into one book, "Sent Here Yesterday to Find Tomorrow" is a rhythmic reflection of time and the times. "I've been writing and performing poetry for over a dozen years. In the past, I put together two chapbooks and contributed to a published collaboration of poetry, "Poetry!" but I haven't done anything like this before. To create this book, I searched through my entire collection of writings and found my most favorite poems. I edited, and polished, and even rewrote a few, then organized them into an anthology of sorts. I hope you enjoy it. À propos de l'auteur

Corey was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up near the Elkhorn River. After high school he moved to California and lived with his aunt and uncle while he studied Communications and competed for the speech and debate team at Palomar College. He transferred to Cal State LA where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Scriptwriting and continued to compete in collegiate speech and debate. In addition to screenwriting, Corey writes and recites spoken word poetry. You can often find him performing around Southern California in places like the Da’ Poetry Lounge in Hollywood or the La Paloma Theatre in Encinitas. Check out CoreyTaftPoetry on instagram
