John Garmon's books include Rise and Fall of the Texas Kid; Geronimo and Cochise; West by Southwest; Dust in My Teeth; Llano Sons (two books with Tony Clark and Jim Harris); Night Spiders, Morning Milk, Definition of Hours (with Chip Dameron and Marty Lewis), and three international poetry anthologies; he once served as president of Berkeley City College in California.His dissertation for the Ph.D. at Ball State University was "Aspects of Place in the Poetry of John Knoepfle." He lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.
