À propos de l'auteur

Billie’s life can be summed up in four phases: 1) the innocence of childhood; 2) alcoholism and avoidance; 3) denial and continued suffering; and finally, 4) acceptance and healing. Her life began in rural Wyoming caressed by nature. Attempting to fit into society and failing, as puberty set in at 13, she began drinking and didn’t stop until she was 39. Through all of this, she married, had a child, and denied who she truly is until she was 49, at which point she started on her path of spirituality and transitioning.
