Alexander Tuff earned a BA in economics from Colby College and an MBA in finance with distinction from Columbia Business School. For five years, Tuff was the chief operating officer of the Risk Management Group at CIT. Since 2013, he has been the president of Winged Keel Group and serves as a member of its executive management committee.
He’s been a featured lecturer at Brown University, discussing leadership and management, and is a contributor to Columbia Business School’s alumni magazine. Tuff is also a member of the Fairchester chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Stamford Hospital’s Foundation board of directors. Additionally, he is founder and chair of an endowed scholarship for high-school students who have lost one or both parents.
Tuff resides in New Canaan, Connecticut, with his wife, Liz, and their three children. He’s an avid skier, golfer, competitive paddle-tennis player, and youth soccer coach in his spare time.
