Jenny McLeod Carlisle lived for the first 17 years of her life with her divorced mom and younger sister in Southeast Kansas. Letters back and forth to her daddy helped to form her writer's voice. After moving to Arkansas just before her senior year in high school, she married her senior prom date, and they happily raised three wonderful kids who are now married and tending to Jenny and James' six beautiful grand kids. A career State Employee, lover of old houses, and joyful Christian, she plans to be an author of Christian fiction when she grows up.
