Synopsis

A grim take on Grimm tales, one where the hunted become thehunters!

In a world where fairy tales are fact and humans live in fear ofwerewolves, witches, and ghouls, only the Hunter’s Guild can keep themonsters at bay. These red-hooded fighters are anything but little, and onlythose able to pay a king’s ransom can afford their services. But they'rethe world’s most elite fighters, and their fees are a small price to payto stay alive. And as one boy from a tiny hamlet is about to find out, thehunters have a plan to eradicate the werewolves once and for all, just as theydid the dragons long, long ago...

In an isolated hamlet lives a boy namedVelou who wants nothing more than to protect his beloved neighbors from thewerewolf terrorizing the town. Why, even the town’s mayor and its skilledhuntsmen are unable to handle the situation on their own anymore. In a desperateattempt to save his people, the mayor hires the Hunter’s Guild toexterminate the werewolf. But after paying an arm and a leg for theGuild’s services, Velou and the citizens are disappointed when a littlegirl in a red hood named Grimm shows up instead of the big, strong hunter theywere expecting. Velou is skeptical of Grimm’s ability to handle thewerewolf―surely the mayor has been scammed by the Hunter’s Guild, right?! Will Velou and the hamlet ever be able to live happily everafter?
