Julian Dutton is a comedy writer & actor whose work has won a BAFTA, a British Comedy Award, and a Radio Academy Gold Award. He has written 50 episodes of TV & more than 200 episodes of radio. He co-created, wrote & performed in BBC2’s Pompidou starring Matt Lucas, and BBC1’s hit sketch series The Big Impression. His children's sitcom for CBBC, Scoop, which he wrote & performed in, ran for three seasons of 39 episodes. His latest radio comedy series, The Secret World, written with Bill Dare, won the Radio Academy Gold Award. He has published three books, most recently ‘Keeping Quiet: Visual Comedy in the Age of Sound,’ (‘A brilliant history of modern slapstick,’ – Harry Hill).
