Did you know that the Pandora and Prometheus stories are part of the same myth? Or that Heracles was only supposed to do ten labours, but ended up doing twelve? Or that Theseus was Heracles' number one fan? Step inside the ancient world like never before, and experience all of the comedy and all of the tragedy that the ancient writers intended to communicate, in a funny, engaging, and modern way. No changes, no censoring, no misplaced satyrs, just the original stories from over 2000 years ago in a brand new, easy-to-read form. In Book One, read about 'The Creation of Man', 'The Twelve Labours of Heracles', and 'The Adventures of Young Theseus', including his meeting with the Minotaur.

‘Loves to imagine a lot of things that never happened and write them down so other people can too.’ Born in Essex and raised in Devon, England, Emily Templar is a self-confessed geek and avid cat lover. Her writing beginnings bloomed after visit from Michael Morpurgo OBE to speak to her class, during which five-year-old Emily decided she wanted to be an author just like Mr Morpurgo. She swiftly went on her way, to a life of typing continually into word processors. Seemingly half-human, half-computer, she’s been posting her work online to judgemental strangers since the age of eleven, and she published her first novel, Zeek Kim’lo: The Fifth Best Detective Agency in the Universe, whilst studying a for an honours degree in ‘Liberal Arts: Ancient History with Proficiency in Japanese’ at the University of Exeter. She was a regional chess champion at the age of twelve, and she is a winner of a national television quiz show, ‘The Chase’. She has produced an album with Randy Bachman, was in the television audience that saw Mo Farah win ‘The Cube’, and has been lost in the ITV studios where she ended up having a chinwag with a popular chat show host in the café. Now a Freelance Writer, Emily continues to write and publish her original works alongside her vague attempts at adulting.
