Hal Brunson has served the Christian community for over four decades as pastor, consultant, and educator. He has taught at the graduate, undergraduate, and college-preparatory levels. An interdisciplinarian, Hal works in the academic fields of theology, aesthetics, and poetry. Hal holds the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, the Master of Divinity, and the Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Dallas. He has received numerous awards for teaching including "Outstanding Teacher of the Humanities" from Southern Methodist University and Brookhaven College. He has also worked under humanities grants as visiting scholar at Trinity College, Washington, D.C., and Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York. A native of Texas, Hal currently resides in Whitefish, MT, with his wife Nancy.
