Synopsis

While there are some similarities in the author’s background and the story line, The Share Cropper’s Daughter is fiction. The main character, Sara, will take the reader down many crooks, turns, and side roads before revealing the drop off and the detour at the end of the road. Don’t forget to fasten your seat belt!

À propos de l'auteur

Author Patsy M Henry grew up on a small farm in South Georgia with six other siblings. Her father was a share cropper. Needless to say, she grew up with lots of love, but opportunities were limited. She never learned to ride a bike, skate or swim. When it was her “turn”, she had the pleasure of riding in the back of the family pickup truck to the nearby town of Pelham. It brought a huge smile to her face when she was treated to a walnut ice cream cone from the Hand Trading Company. Somehow, maybe by the grace of God, all seven siblings finished high school and struck out on their own. The author married and settled down in the neighboring town of Bainbridge.
