Synopsis

They say that youth is wasted on the young, but let's not forget the wonderful times all of us had during our care-free school years. For some, such as myself, this carried on to entering the teaching profession, with dramatically different experiences.Snapshots of my experiences are described, but the overlap between reality and fantasy is blurred sufficiently to evoke a sense of lament and gratitude that childhood memories evince. The first collection of short stories aims to capture the innocence and the mischievousness that is always present during our formative years. Then follows a number of stories written from the perspective of a teacher who, in some ways, has not outgrown his youth and who still wishes he were one of the students he teaches.
