What gave me the idea to write the book?

Some years ago, I went to a church. I've met these people as they were handing out flyers on a main square.

I soon discovered that their teaching is strongly focused on water baptism. They told me that if I was not baptized, or if I was baptized but not their way, then I was not saved. They've challenged the Baptist or Evangelical thinking about water baptism.

I was not convinced, so I went home to do my homework. My question was: what does the Bible say about the relation between salvation and water baptism?

This book is the fruit of that study. Are Evangelicals right? Is that particular church right? Or does the Bible teach something that differs from both groups? You find the answers in the book.
