Two former Atwood, KS high school classmates, Stefanie Shannon and Shade Sandstorm, began dating, started a relationship that led to engagement and the two getting married. Finding out the two could not have children, they decided to spend the rest of their lives with no children. One recurring person would become their roommate over the years.
