Synopsis

Pete is almost eighty, and when his wife is suddenly killed in a tragic accident he thinks that’s it for him—he’ll be alone for the rest of his life. Out of kindness and necessity he takes in Mary, a neighbor who’s become injured and can’t manage the stairs in her house for a couple of weeks.
