Synopsis

Kate MacKenzie and Victor Manyhorses reunite for more adventures with Bear and Little Eagle in this stand-alone timetravel sequel to Once Upon Another Time. Victor and three-month-old Little Eagle go to Seattle with Kate so she can finish teaching the school year and prepare to move back to Colorado. While Kate’s off teaching, Victor develops his artwork and forms friendships with local Native Americans, including the beguiling Swinomish artist Adele Swiftcurrent, who mentors Victor in his art. Meanwhile, sixteen-year-old Doozie struggles to run her saloon in Colorado City and questions her decision to remain in 1863 instead of traveling to the future with Kate, especially when threatened by her cruel nemesis Blackstone. Back in the future, Kate is plagued by guilt for leaving Doozie behind, Bear launches into numerous shapeshifting exploits, and Kate and Victor’s relationship finally explodes under the pressures of modern life.
