Synopsis

Tammy is a little girl whose favourite place is a secluded area at the bottom of the garden, where she can play and allow her imagination to wander. She is interrupted one day by a witch and a goblin, who come into the garden from the nearby woods. The witch tries to cast an evil spell on the goblin. Tammy intervenes, however, and she manages to trap the witch. The grateful goblin presents her with the witch’s wand and shows her how to use it to create a magic bubble that can take her anywhere she wishes. But the next day the witch frees herself and forces Tammy to come with her to her horrible house in Witchglade, a secret place full of magic where lots of good and bad witches live. The witch plans to cast a spell of obedience on Tammy so that she will be her servant. How will she escape? All of the small creatures in Witchglade can talk, but who can she trust to help her? This book is all about the adventures that Tammy has in Witchglade, and her encounters with the good witches and the wicked witches who live there.
