Earl Whit had never been comfortable in the world he lived. After years of martial law and the government being nothing more than an extension of those he called the Decepticans, a lucky stroke gave him a way out. He began the Foundations, a member owned cooperative based in Economic Democracy and the value and potential of the individual. Hard working and talented, Earl had always felt he could not get ahead because he wasn't one of them, the Decepticans. The Foundations Codex follows the first six years of the Foundations. At first, under the radar of the Decepticans and then squarely in their sights, the members build an economic power upon the talents and hard work of their membership. In a time of political repression, only economic resistance can be successful. A newly freely elected government, helps the Foundations to survive and eventually flourish but all along the real rulers, the Decepticans wait for their chance to again gain complete control and this time finish the job.

RC Romine is a graduate of the University of South Florida. With a bachelors degree in political science and a minor in history. Working in a variety of industries and including being a university volleyball head coach and a business owner, he has seen the economy from the belly of the beast. Working for banks he saw how the economic system worked against the interests of the vast majority of Americans. The concept of the Foundations came from a thought problem of how to counter the contraction of wealth and ownership that so diminished his beloved America. The concept of the Foundations is to again have the ownership of the nation and the economy be in the hands of the majority. Also the realization that we have been a political semi- democracy and an economic dictatorship. Can't we be more?
