Synopsis

A hero’s journey begins ..."Time is moving differently for me. It is skipping like a fast-moving stone on water. Through the week and around the clock - in that order! Into danger."After an accident, Kyle Stone begins to experience a mysterious movement of time. He skips through the hours of a week, moving from one hour one day to the same hour next day - all while facing the mundane, the terrifying, and the unimaginable. Kyle’s grasp of reality is shaken, his faith is challenged. This strange chronological path not only takes him from the frozen Canadian prairie to the middle of the January 2015 Paris terror attacks, but into the deepest questions about reality, and about how to live. Will Kyle fall under the strain? Will he survive ‘7 / 24: Time Like No Other’?

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Steve is a husband, father of three growing (as opposed to “shrinking”?) children, and lives in the easiest province to draw in Canada - Saskatchewan! (But if you’re a stickler for details, watch out for that eastern border - it’s more complicated than it appears.) He is a pastor, with Bachelor and Master degrees in Biblical and Church studies. He is an outdoor enthusiast (except for the mosquitoes; he really hates those), lover of words, and dreams of ways of living more sustainably in the wounded creation which God asked us to tend and care for. 7/24: Time Like No Other is his first novel.
