Joe Cartwright has been painting with watercolors for nearly twenty years. Fourteen years ago he left a 30 year career in marketing to follow his passion of watercolor painting. For most of this time he has taught watercolor, both in classes and workshops, and gets a special thrill at seeing his students progress in this magical medium. It was his experience with his students, learning to answer their many and varied questions in as simple a way as possible that caused him to produce his first book "Mastering Watercolors - a practical guide." His second book, "Watercolour Step-By-Step," includes 12 detailed demonstrations, ideally suited to anyone who has purchased his first book and would like to further develop this watercolor painting. The step by step approach is especially useful to students who cannot attend regular art classes.
