Synopsis

In January of 2011, I began a diary of poetry in which each day's entry was another poem. The full sequence of these daily poems exists on a website, www.asleepingbird.asleepingbird.com, to which I continue to add. I have begun to select from these poems and publish the selections as books defined by months. This book contains a selection of one hundred and thirty-seven poems drawn from the total of two hundred and forty-eight poems that I composed in July through 2011-2017. The selections are arranged by their date of composition within the month, from the first to the thirty-first.
