Synopsis

Matthew Cready has become disillusioned with his daily life as a tax collector until a fateful meeting with a trumpet player named Jesus changes everything. Over the next seven days, Matthew is reacquainted with painful memories from his past, while being provoked by visions that he believes may be from the gods. In the course of facing his past, and interpreting his visions, with Jesus as a guide, Matthew begins to develop a new philosophical interaction with life. The Second Coming of Matthew Cready is about acceptance, change, and the decisions we make that inevitably lead us to a harrowing end, or a brighter future.
