Synopsis

An educational coloring book developed for young children ages 4 to 9 to start learning basic electronics. The book, in which learning is made fun from coloring, teaches a child the schematic symbols used in electronic designs. It also gives a brief description of the function of each solid-state device that is illustrated in the coloring book so that the child can have an idea what the purpose is of each device. The book was developed by Professor Richard Morrow Porrata, Ph.D., who has a degree in Electronics Engineering and a retired Airways Systems Transportation Specialist who was trained on the many sophisticated navigational systems used in the aviation industry. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after 21 years of federal service. Professor Morrow has applied his many years of electronics experience into this coloring book but in its simplest form so that a child can learn the fundamentals of electronics. It is hoped that this coloring book will inspire a child to acquire an interest in electronics and possibly steering the child into a career field in science.
