Synopsis
The Temple describes the history of the holiest icon of Jewish history. Moses heard the commandments of God and caused the tent that housed the ark of the covenant to be built, complete with all needed contributing vessels, altars and cloth hangings. After the conquest of the promised land, and a series of occupiers and judges, the temple was built in Jerusalem to house the ark of the covenant and to serve as a place for Jewish pilgrimage and to achieve atonement for their sins through proper sacrifice. The Temple is a must read for students of the Bible who wish to gain clarity regarding the evolution of the tent during Exodus through the temple in Jerusalem.
