Synopsis

There is a point in every budding life when a special kind of openness is lost. For a very brief time before this door is forever closed, unexpected forces can reach through and provide an unexplained perception. Oblivious Insight explores one possible motivating force. Oblivious Insight is a contemporary story that begins with the beautiful young wife of a Colombian drug lord. Desperate to complete her plans, she reaches out across a continent to a clumsy teenager, Keith Brent. She leads him to an object at the bottom of Tampa Bay Florida. By just living in an area with a long history of pirates and treasure, it doesn’t take long for Keith to get caught up in the hunt. In the search for the answers about this unusual yet common object, Keith enlists the aid of his savvy uncle, David Mastry. They spend a few days of their summer vacation casually following the clues around Central Florida. They soon stumble into men with premeditated plans. As these men quickly cover up the clues, other more ruthless men rush in to rip away at another dirty secret. With death sure to find them behind every turn, Keith and David are swept into an explosive confrontation.
