Synopsis

A humorous view of parental rules through the eyes of a rebellious fifteen year old teenage boy. Everything from the birth moment, nursing, imprisonment in the playpen, learning to walk, eating without teeth, kindergarten, and on to the current days with oppressive parental rules regarding privacy, censorship, harping, keeping the room clean, chores, family vacations and a hugely funny chapter on teen sex. You will laugh out loud as the perception from the other side presents itself. If you have raised children this book will make you laugh. If you are going to raise children, there might be some valuable insights for you to consider. All in all, it is a funny walk through the life of a teen who is in the midst of rebelling and contends that he and his friends know everything there is to know. They are enlightened and you are, well not even close. That's they way they see it. The author raised three rebellious sons who tried every trick in the book including hosting "All you can eat and drink for a fee" home theater and beer parties, with printed tickets and the host wearing this author's tuxedo while the author was out of town on business. This book is but a glimpse of what it is like to raise a teen. Each chapter ends with a rule from the teen, a rebuttal from the parent and my advice from having been there. Enjoy.
