Synopsis
An Array of Color is a compilation of poetry spanning the 2 years since I published “Broom Tree.” As I looked over the poetry I had written, I found it was reflective of so much. It reflects church life celebrations, personal triumphs, heartache, and mundane days. Reading them, I thought, this is life. Sometimes we get so caught up in a joy or in a sorrow that it seems that’s all we can see for awhile, but really these are just moments. Dots of various color across eternity. If we step back and glance God’s greater work, we find that all these moments of living, all these little dots of color are painting a beautiful portrait of our lives filled with light and with shadows with brightness and with depth. As you read some of my array of color, I pray that God will meet you in the words and allow you to glimpse the beauty of your won array of color. And I pray that you will see how your array adds to the beauty of God’s eternal masterpiece.
