Particularly worrisome is the fact that some ladies are taking advantage of these ICT challenges to woo and win married men over. Some do it for the fun of it while others deliberately seek it for what they hope to get from it and can even go at any length just to have that relationship. All these are meant to trap married men and ruin their marriages. The Word of God calls these women strange women. They are there in the offices, Churches, eateries, streets, schools, markets, shopping malls and social gatherings. They position themselves by their seducing dresses, make-ups and unnecessary socialization they call networking. They are everywhere. Imagine, a guy chatting with a lady and told the lady he wanted to know how her breast looked like and the lady knowing that the guy was married snapped her breast and sent it. He received it right in his bedroom without his wife’s knowledge. I was speechless and wondered what a world we are living in. It is clear the amount of chatting, text messages and information sharing going on without the wife’s knowledge while she is laboring doing the house chores. This could be painful and hurting if the knowledge is revealed to the wife. The irony of it all is that some men don’t even know when these strange women slip through into their hearts and win them over at the expense of their esteem and precious wives. If nothing is done, wives risk losing their cherished marriages to these gold diggers. Even though men as social beings are difficult to monitor and controlled, wives and intending wives to be should be exposed to principles that will help secure their marriages.
