Synopsis
An abandoned puppy named Dinker finds himself in the local dog pound where the clock of survival is ticking. While struggling with the hope that his little girl, Amy, will come back for him, Dinker meets an odd assortment of local throwaways. There’s Scrappy, the pedigree, who’s been through the system twice before; Ebony, the surrender, who has quite her own story to tell; and Butch, the friendly guy next door, who instantly befriends the frightened pup. As Dinker waits and hopes for Amy’s return, he learns the facts of dog pound life and death. Seeing the desperation around him, he devises a plan to help his fellow pound buddies.
