The Point of View is a short story by the famous author Henry James. The story was written during what is considered his middle period. The story is comprised of several letters by individuals loosely connected, with the connection being their individual views on America. James’ is noted as the master of voice and his eloquence is seen here. He is able to give each character their own distinct personality even when in agreement.
