Synopsis

Twelve years. That's how long ago this merry band of writers, authors and editors first met and came together with the idea of what is now Silver Pen. Since then, we've grown four awesome magazines, and a vibrant forum with world-class advice at SilverPenWriters.org. For this anthology Fabula Argentea selected some of their best pieces that they feel represent the magazine. They publish well-written, memorable, character-driven stories that span a broad range of subject matter. Liquid imagination is represented by six exceptional stories from a wealth of choice from our past magazines. Two Pushcart nominees, “Lovers' Quarrel” and “Ink,” are the vanguard for an exciting spectrum of thrills, chills, fun, wonder and "Wow!" moments. Youth Imagination loves stories that explore the issues as well as the grit and character of teens and young adults. Pain echoes as we see the teens’ lives through these authors’ eyes. Some of the characters mature, and some learn from their mistakes. And some are not given a second chance. Silver Blade Magazine is now entering its 10th year in publication. The selections in this anthology are among the best stories the publishers have read in recent times. They were happy to publish them in Silver Blade, and proud to present them to you now in this anthology.
