Synopsis

Collective Soul is a compilation of essays regarding our society as seen through the eyes of the average man, like myself, struggling to understand the complexities on balance with all the others doing much the same thing. It is curious that we are all here and not some other more interesting place where the strength of competition doesn’t always decide the outcome. I take the conservative position mainly because the other side makes less sense, and that the dialogue doesn’t always match up with the plausible storyline or that inevitable unhappy ending. There is always the political consideration to keep in mind when talking about our universe or education, taking care not to offend anyone of the multitude of needy people that we live next to in direct competition with ourselves for the available resources. Try not to step on too many toes, just the right number. I need my safe space. I get a sense that there is political change coming, and that it will involve all of us as a necessary part of the equation, and since it will be based on the argument of the greatest good for the greatest number of people, then it is best to understand the reasoning behind such a development in order not to get caught in the net. Can’t be too careful. It is all about my understanding and my personal quest for clarity. Most of what we consider information is given from a singular progressive media perspective. I try to reason my way through the many issues, given what I have learned over my brief stay this time, filtering the politics, and I may overstep my cultural boundaries here and there, but I eventually get to the point. It’s never dull. Hope you enjoy the journey
