Gopi, raised Hindu, was transformed by the message he heard from a visiting American Pastor who converted him to the Christian faith. Although he was redeemed from his spiritual brokenness, Gopi realized that his social status in India was only changed from an “Untouchable Hindu” to an “Untouchable Christian.” Persuaded by the egalitarian message of Christ, Gopi committed his life to become a preacher. The American Pastor, who converted him, educated him in California to become a pastor and loved him like his own son. While studying in America, Gopi and Sita suffered several devastating tragedies stemming from their inter-caste relationship; but their love endured. This is a timeless and boundless tale of enduring love and redemption that eluded, but finally found every character in this story.
