Kay began with a monthly column for the "Bucks County Herald," covering a wide range of inspiring topics and observations that included travel, history, relationships, daily life, and interesting people. Inspiration for "Everything I Know About Relationships I Learned Dancing" grew out of her love for social dance and an extraordinary weekend workshop with the incomparable dancer and teacher , Frankie Manning.
