My name is Ms. Diane M. Baxter Trapeni. I have been an Elementary Reading and Special Education teacher for 40+ years and have read thousands of books aloud to children. I enjoyed that so much I decided to write to you myself. My books now number past 180 and my wonderful illustrators are drawing as fast as they can to get the stories to you. I will be telling you about the next book at the end of each book so stay tuned. As a child I did not apply myself to reading a lot until 6th grade. It was at that time that I couldn’t put a book down. I read all summer and from then on… Nowadays I always have several books going! Now that I am writing books, it’s double the fun! I hope you enjoy reading about my characters and their antics. Some of them make me laugh out loud! Some of the creatures remind me of people I know or have heard about. They are all very dear to me. Several want you to have conversations with your parents about things that may be bothering you or ideas that you don’t understand yet. So let’s read together and have some fun!
