Dead Roses is her first published novel. She is currently working on another novel set in Misquamicut, RI and Mystic, Connecticut as well as a memoir of her cancer journey.

Called “Marge” by her friends, she currently lives in Uncasville, Connecticut with her husband, Phil and spends winters in Palm Harbor, Florida. She continues to enjoy Misquamicut Beach after passing on their summer cottage to her son and his family. An avid reader, she also enjoys yoga, travel, her writing group, spending time with her grandchildren and friends and owning racehorses at Tampa Bay Downs and Philadelphia Park with her husband. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November of 2015, she uses her writing to educate the public about this deadly disease and to advocate for improved research.
