Laurence David Laufer is a middle-aged lawyer living in New York, New York. Prior to this volume, his published works have been in the realm of law. Laurence enjoys golf, tennis, singing and other things. He performs in cabaret shows that he produces. Many years ago he wrote poems and recently he began to do so again. His girlfriend is Jo Ann. His beagle is Maxwell. Laurence is a widower. His wife Theresa Wen Hui Wang-Laufer died of cancer on January 20, 2009. She was 43.
