Julian Peter Seig Jones was born in Surrey and spent some of his childhood in Hampshire. Since 1986 he has lived in Derbyshire, England. Attended Glossopdale Community College and studied Art and Photography at the Manchester Metropolitan University. Was an assistant to the art department and a Sontaran Trooper on Doctor Who spin-off video production ‘Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans’ written by Doctor Who legend Terrance Dicks and is still waiting to be invited as a guest to a convention. Was a ‘featured’ background artist appearing as a member of a choir throughout the BBC’s six part television series ‘All The Small Things’ written by Debbie Horsefield. Is one half of ‘Dan & Jones: Mind the Hedge’ who produce mostly ad-libbed audio nonsense and parodies, including ‘Proctor Do’, ‘Sunflower & Seeds’ and ‘Bleaks Heaven’; viewable on youtube. A lifelong love of old films, TV, music and books is reflected in his work. He enjoys writing and making things that appear to be unintentionally bad. It has taken him far too long to write this bloody book and he’s still not happy with it.
