The Musical Theatre Codex lists solos, duets, and ensemble pieces from 178 musical theatre scores dated 1925 to current Broadway productions. Songs have been assigned one of nine character types defined by The Musical Theatre Codex Theory of Theatrical Archetypes.

Anita Anderson Endsley is a 35-year veteran performer of professional musical theatre, opera, and television. She has performed on regional stages across country, appeared in Gullah Gullah Island, All That, and Scooter for Nickelodeon Studios, as well as having commercial credits and starring in the PBS docudrama The 27th Star. While performing three seasons with Atlanta Opera she appeared in Tosca, The Merry Widow, Madam Butterfly and La Traviata. She also performed major works as a free-lance concert vocal soloist. In addition to performing, Anita has enjoyed six years as a professional choreographer and director. Anita is currently a free-lance producer and talent manager for Copper Horizon Entertainment as well as an Entertainment Manager for Disney's Hollywood Studios. She has held adjunct positions among the theatre faculty at the University of Central Florida and adjunct voice faculty at Valencia College. As author of Inside the BFA Theatre and Dance Degrees and Performing Arts and Rubrics and Program Templates, she lectures at Theatre and Education conferences. Anita holds an MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida and a Ballet Teaching Certification from the Royal Academy of Dance.
