Synopsis

The war between earth and the Roman Empire was just getting started! The Romans were descendants of people who had been abducted from earth thousands of years ago. They overthrew their masters and made a new empire! Now they were accusing earth of being in league with the gray people and refused to live in peace! Lieutenant Jerry Hamilton began his day on a high notea promotion to lieutenant after one year and his own squad to command! But promotions happen quickly in war, and he was thrust into battle where it was shoot first or die! He destroyed the enemy ship only to have his fighter damaged by an escape pod. He captured the escape pod and landed on a nearby planet. Imagine his shock when the person inside was a beautiful woman who just happened to be the princess of the Roman Empire, whose hair was as fiery as her temper! Now Jerry had to keep her alive from hostile conditions and dangerous animals. Fortunately, she turned out to be surprisingly resourceful, and he would need her help to survive. But what would happen to Jerry if the Romans found them first? Would he be thanked or executed?

Tennessee is a beautiful place to grow up in. The rolling hills, the green grass and trees, the lakes, rivers and streams. Clear blue skies that light up in the evenings like they were on fire. There were many opportunities for quiet solitude reading thrilling stories about heroes, science fiction and daring escapes by Robert Heinlein. Thrilling mysteries like Sherlock Holmes the Hardy boys and Tom Swift. As I got older I discovered Stephen King and even though Ive never been a horror fan, hes a good writer, he knows how to tell a story. His encouragement to write a short story in King on Writing was invaluable to me, I wrote a short story and I enjoyed writing so I wrote more. There are some other authors today, like myself that just have a knack for storytelling with little or no training on how to write like, Ted Dekker and John Grisham that are wildly successful. I remember my mother reading to me from the Bible when I was little, my favorite was David and Goliath. Today my faith in Jesus is the most valuable thing I own and wouldnt trade it for the world.
