A young and courageous peanut loving chipmunk called Peetie learns the value of friendship, trust and kindness in his first action packed adventure. Deciding to hide in a human's motorhome he finds himself traveling from his home in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York only to be thrust out into the dark and scary Florida swamps. Lost and alone he is determined, with the help of several frightening looking animals, to find his way back to the motorhome where his human friend Al awaits. Along the way he learns compassion, bravery and the value of good friends. The chipmunk in this story is real, as are his human friends. They have shared their home, and their peanuts, with Peetie for six wonderful years!
