Synopsis

Marginal Improvement was the best thing that could be said about the Corinthians after receiving Paul’s rebuke a year earlier. A few of them responded positively, whom he encouraged, but the majority of them required additional correction. As he ministered in Troas and Macedonia, false apostles subverted his message and organized a revolt against him in Corinth. Paul had to defend himself against some of his former converts who questioned his authority, judgment and motivation. He was not innocent until proven guilty. Titus arrived and straightened things out, freeing Paul to do what he did best - preach the gospel and teach believers how to build a doctrinal structure in their soul.
