Martha McCarty is a classroom teacher who, after enjoying 37 years in that position, finally retired. She tried to do so twice before she actually did, but went back both times because she loved her work with adolescents and teens. After 53 years of marriage to the greatest blessing and challenge of her life, she is now a widow. Martha has four children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She lives in Stringer, Ms with a daughter’s family, whom she invited to live with her so that she can spoil her grandchildren on a regular basis.
