Synopsis

Charlotte Fawcett is still reeling from the mental and physical trauma she suffered in the hand of a person she loved, adored and worshipped. Her life was turned upside down about two and a half years ago. Charlotte’s mother Emily is struck down by breast cancer. A part of the story unfolds in Emily’s diaries written in the hospital while she was waiting for treatment. A touching tale with incidents making you laugh and cry with every recollection. This story is a roller coaster of feelings and suspense that keeps you guessing and wanting more till the very end. The story comes to an end in a dramatic and unexpected climax. It shows just how far and strong the roots and bonds of love go and how it makes you go to any length in order to protect the ones you treasure the most.

The author is a retired Civil/Structural/Bridge Engineer who has worked all his working life in England. He divides his time between England and India. He was born in Calcutta and graduated from Calcutta University. He went to England for further studies and settled there. He has authored many books. He uses his pen name Beno Ray for most recent books. He is also known as Satya Sankar Ray. He has travelled all over the world and his primary interest is photography, cooking and travel. He is the author of seven engineering books, two children’s books, one book on religious study, one cook book and a book of photography.
