Jacqueline Ridge left her position as a Mechanical Engineer in the manufacturing field to be a stay-at-home mother to her two young daughters. With avid imaginations and a strong desire to learn, her children spend hours a day reading books with their mother. Very early into her children's lives, Ridge recognized a disconnect between the messages the books were teaching her children and the messages that she was trying to teach her children. Determined to create books that sparked children's imagination and to challenge children to reach their potential, Ridge began self publishing books focusing on the empowerment of our youth, focusing on various topics such as self-acceptance, altruism, the normalization of vitiligo, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
