Synopsis

The Memory Palace is a novella that weaves together two stories. The first story explores with extreme honesty, grace and wry humor, yet without sentimentality, what it feels like to learn that you are dying of an incurable disease, woven together with a related story about a museum of extinct birds and the fantastical efforts made to deny the reality of their death.
