When we encounter children diagnosed with Autism, we find that there are so many unique characteristics of each individual child; and this is why Autism is considered a spectrum. This book highlights a few variable behaviors from my personal experiences that I have had with children on the spectrum as a Nurse Practitioner in Neurology. It is designed to be fun, but also enlightening to a small fraction of the thought process from the perspective of a child with Autism. This book was also created to be bring laughter to what at times from the point of view of a parent can be challenging. A dash of humor in most situations can yield a more positive outlook and outcome. The Autism label is not a stigma, and does not limit the possibilities of your child. It enables opportunities and resources that can be made available. The Autism diagnosis also provides you with the opportunity to understand your child, and to become empowered, in order to maximize their awesomeness potential.
